The Bright Tangerine Prodigy Air Deflector Production Kit equips you with the tools you need to shoot clear images in inclement conditions with the help of the Air Deflector Compressor and Air Head, and it expands upon the Base Kit with additional accessories to power the system, replace the hose and glass, and mount it on a 15mm rail system. Three filter trays, matte box accessories, and a top flag allow you further control over exposure.

Bright Tangerine Prodigy Air Deflector Compressor

When attached to the Prodigy Air Head, the Bright Tangerine Prodigy Air Deflector Compressor filters and compresses air, accelerating it to speeds of 300+ mph to keep debris off your camera lens to film in inclement weather conditions. A 2-pin LEMO port powers the device via any industry-standard 24V power supply. It has built-in polarity switching to prevent short circuiting from damaging the device.

Control from compatible hand units or remotes can be achieved via the 3-pin Fischer run/stop port. An integrated control panel with easy-to-use buttons is at the top of the device, and a USB Type-C port is also available for future firmware updates. Six 1/4"-20 threads and three 3/8"-16 on the sides of the compressor allow you to incorporate it into your gear configuration. A safety tether point enables the attachment of a safety wire for additional security.

Bright Tangerine Prodigy Air Head

The Bright Tangerine Prodigy Air Head functions as a protective matte box or, when attached to the Prodigy Air Deflector Compressor, can direct airflow from the device and clear debris from your lens to film in inclement weather. The integrated glass panel has a hydrophobic coating and is impact resistant for high durability.

You can attach the Air Head to your rig either in a clip-on or rod-mounted configuration with separately available adapters. It can accommodate up to three filter trays and suits wide-angle lenses. Aluminum and stainless steel make up the remainder of its construction and withstand hot and cold climates with ease.

Bright Tangerine Prodigy Power Cable (4.9')

Power your Prodigy Air Deflector Compressor with this 4.9' Bright Tangerine Prodigy Power Cable. The male 2-pin LEMO connector inserts into the compressor and provides 24V of power with minimal voltage drop. The male 3-pin XLR connects to your power source of choice.

Bright Tangerine Prodigy Hose

The Prodigy Air Hose from Bright Tangerine connects the Prodigy Air Deflector Compressor to the Prodigy Air Head and delivers high-pressure air for a clear image. Measuring 1.6' in length, its kink-resistant and durable design allows for flexible positioning. Two quick release bayonet fittings ensure no air leaks affect the compressor's performance.

Bright Tangerine Prodigy Carbon Fiber Top Flag

Integrate this Bright Tangerine Prodigy Carbon Fiber Top Flag into your Air Head matte box configuration to prevent lens flares and further protect from the elements. A 165° range of movement provides flexible positioning and enables the flag to close flush to the Air Head's glass surface. Installation is simple with the integrated thumbscrew and guide posts. Tightening or loosening the thumbscrew allows for quick adjustments while on set. Its carbon fiber construction creates a durable and lightweight design.

Bright Tangerine 4 x 5.65" / 4 x 4" Filter Tray for Misfit Kick or ARRI LMB Matte Box

Add filters to your matte box with this 4 x 5.65" / 4 x 4" Filter Tray for the Bright Tangerine Misfit Kick, ARRI LMB 4x5, LMB-25, LMB-15, or LMB-5 matte box. This anodized aluminum filter tray allows you to use a 4 x 5.65" or 4 x 4" filter with the matte box.

The spring-loaded locking clasp ensures a quick and secure fit into the matte box, and it can also be swapped out for an optional Gripper Module, which makes it even easier to swap filters.

Bright Tangerine Prodigy Glass

This Prodigy Glass from Bright Tangerine can replace the glass in your Prodigy Air Head. It has the same hydrophobic coated, impact-resistant construction as the glass in the Air Head matte box to help defect debris and water from the surface. It can be easily installed by loosening the screws on the Air Head with a separately available 4mm Allen key and sliding the spare glass inside.

Bright Tangerine Frame Safe Clamp Adapter for Misfit Kick Matte Box (143mm)

Mount the Misfit Kick matte box onto a lens with a 143mm diameter with this Frame Safe Clamp Adapter from Bright Tangerine. The rectangular adapter attaches to the matte box using the existing screws and can fit a lens with a 143mm diameter into its circular cutout.

The anodized aluminum adapter can also be attached to a 15mm support bracket with an appropriate support extension. This adapter can also be used with optional clamp-on rings and rubber donuts to support a wide variety of lenses. Bright Tangerine 143mm Black Hole Donut for Viv, Viv 5", Misfit, and Strummer DNA

Bright Tangerine's 143mm Black Hole Donut works with lenses with a front outer diameter between 62 and 143mm. It is compatible with Bright Tangerine Viv, Viv 5", Misfit, and Strummer DNA matte boxes as well as select ARRI matte boxes. The black elasto polymer stretches to fit on your lens, and features a conical shape that allows for two inches of lens travel.

The Black Hole Donut is fitted with a 138mm filter ring and threaded retaining ring. This allows you to mount your 138mm filters into the front of the donut, which is then attached to the front of your matte box.

The Black Hole Donut expands to fit lenses with diameters between 62 and 143mm.

With two inches of travel, you can use this lens donut with lenses that change size as you change focus.

Bright Tangerine 15mm LWS Support Bracket for Misfit Kick

Add 15mm LWS rod support to your Misfit Kick matte box with this 15mm LWS Support Bracket from Bright Tangerine. The bracket attaches directly to a Misfit Kick 134, 136, or 143mm Frame Safe clamp adapter with two captive screws and secures to 15mm rods with a single locking lever. To utilize smaller diameters, an additional support extension is required. The support bracket is also compatible with the ARRI LMB 4x5 143mm clamp adapter and the LMB 4x5 Tilt and Flex adapter.
