The Laowa 24mm T14 2X Periprobe (Nikon Z) Lens brings a new shooting possibility to the market. It is widely used for wildlife, table top shots, commercials and other creative shooting. The new 24mm T14 2x Macro Periprobe lens takes the Probe lens to another level.

The Laowa 24mm Periprobe offers an angle of view of 85° with a periscope and a very close working distance which allows a subjective view. 2x magnification captures subjects of varying sizes in great detail. Users can introduce the long waterproof tube into a tight space and underwater to get a unique perspective. Several LEDs provide an additional light source. It is also possible to replace the 90° periscope with the 0° straight probe. The lens can rotate 360° along the axis, a mechanism locks the chosen orientation. Additional accessories can also be installed at the end of the lens. The 1/4'' thread on the end allows the attachment of accessories such as lighting or provides an anchor point for better stabilization.

Subjective view

The lens is able to focus very close to the subject, 2cm at 2x magnification. It also offers a wider (85°) perspective than other macro lenses to create an insect-like perspective.

2x magnification

With 2x magnification, users have greater flexibility to photograph subjects of different sizes. Higher magnification captures more detail.

Greater depth of field

The Laowa 24mm T14 2X Periprobe (Sony E) offers a wider perspective than other macro telephoto lenses and the aperture range is from T14 to T40; it therefore has a greater depth of field at close range. This is advantageous when shooting in the field or in a studio, as it allows more background information to be included.

Long tubular optic

The long, tubular format of the lens makes it more accessible to different subjects. Thanks to its 40 cm long tube, you can introduce it into narrow spaces such as tree holes, Lego houses, etc. Users can also maintain a safe distance from subjects.

Sealed end

The front tube of the Laowa 24mm T24 periprobe is waterproof, allowing users to shoot underwater without a housing to get unique shots that other lenses cannot.

360° rotation

A clutch mechanism locks/unlocks the orientation of the periscope through 360°.
