AKG Hypercardioid gooseneck microphone 12in on XLR

Hyper cardioid polar pattern condenser microphone, 12 in gooseneck mount. It has a built-in XLR phantom power adapter and 250Hz bass roll-off. It connects to any standard console input with a 9V 52V power supply.

A specific characteristic of the Discret Compact series is that the gooseneck and the capsule form an inseparable whole. The front grille is attached to the gooseneck and the internal contacts are soldered. This protects the delicate condenser capsule from mechanical stress as well as electromagnetic interference, ensuring optimal reliability and excellent audio qualities. The gooseneck base has an XLR connector with gold-plated contacts. The metal body houses the electronic part of the microphone. The flexible section is robust and allows precise positioning of the microphone.
