This dual distribution amplifier allows to multiply digital outputs of two equipments; keeping for each output, specifications in accordance with those ones described in international standards AES-3 (IEC 958).
EXT110 is transparent for digital data transmitted and accepts all semi professional and professional standard digital audio formats in inputs (AES/EBU, S/PDIF, IEC 958).
EXT110 is dedicated to the distribution of digital audio signals to completely digital systems (recording, audio and video production, broadcasting studios...). Its D/A 24 bits / 96 KHz converter affords an analog sound control throughout an entirely digital chain. This function is very useful for the maintenance of equipment.
Two possible configurations:
- A (1→10): The digital input A is distributed toward 10 outputs.
- A+B (2→5): The digital input A is distributed toward 5 outputs and the digital input B toward the 5 other outputs.
For each channel:
- Automatic detection and display of sampling rate.
- Errors detection.
- Balanced input on XLR and on transformater (AES / EBU standard).
Inputs are controlled by bargraph and headphone with adjustable volume (D/A 24 bits/96 KHz converter integrated).
Analog balanced output on rear XLR, is as such as the bargraph modulation and headphone to a general listening.
All digital audio outputs are balanced on XLR and on transformers.
EXT110 is fitted with a bypass in case of failure of power supply. Output A1 is switched on input A; output B1 is switched on input B.
- A (1 to 10): Digital input A is distributed to 10 outputs.
- A+B (2 to 5): Digital input A is distributed to the first 5 outputs and digital input B to the other 5 outputs.
- Automatic detection and display of sample rate.
- Error detection.
- Balanced input on XLR and transformer (AES/EBU).
