Advanced lens metadata support

The Flex Zoom series meets a wide range of communication standards thanks to its versatile communication function between lens and camera, bringing together Cooke /i Technology™ and ZEISS eXtended Data™ (PL mount), as well as compatibility with the EF mount. It is thus possible to display or record lens metadata, as well as to use camera functions such as aberration correction, peripheral illumination correction and the Focus Guide function with compatible cameras. Lemo 4-pin external communication provides metadata support for cameras that do not comply with the above protocols.

Robust design and practical handling functions

The CN-E20-50MM T2.4 L F/FP and CN-E45-135MM T2.4 L F/FP lenses share the same design, based on consistent front diameter, gear positions and angles of rotation. Focus, zoom and iris rings feature industry-standard gearing, as well as a 0.8mm pitch suitable for third-party focus-tracking accessories. The lens offers luminous (phosphorescent) measurement displays in meters and imperial units, making it easy to use in low light.
