Support your RED V-RAPTOR cinema camera on a DJI Ronin-2 gimbal system using the separately available LeftField Quick Release Baseplate with this DJI Ronin-2 Riser Kit from Bright Tangerine. The kit includes a DJI riser and a DJI dovetail plate. Both components are made from durable aluminum.

The riser is compatible with the separately available LeftField 15mm LWS baseplate, and it allows you to mount the V-RAPTOR and ensure your camera is at the proper 15mm LWS height when mounted onto a gimbal system. The included dovetail plate features rubber padding and an extra-wide platform to ensure the camera is secure and balanced. It mounts onto the quick release mechanism and secures with a safety lock.

Bright Tangerine DJI Ronin-2 Dovetail for RED V-RAPTOR

Easily balance and switch your DJI Ronin-2 gimbal between handheld and tripod setups using the DJI Ronin-2 Dovetail from Bright Tangerine. Designed for use with the LeftField 15mm LWS baseplate, this lightweight aluminum dovetail plate features a generous fore/aft balancing range and a front slot for mounting a lens adapter support. Pair it with a DJI Ronin-2 riser and a LeftField Universal baseplate to raise your camera to 15mm LWS height.

The center slot features a sliding screw shuttle, so the camera can be balanced and adjusted without moving the plate. It also features a wide platform design and etched markings for presetting the balance. There are three M4 threads on the front to mount the DJI Focus Motor Rod mount.

Compatibility

This dovetail is compatible with the DJI Ronin 2, allowing it to be loaded directly onto the gimbal without needing to change camera plates. The extra length provides ample room for balancing and adjustment.=

Measurement and Balance Markings

Laser-etched markers along the length of the dovetail let ACs mark down balanced positions on the gimbal.

The plate features a quick release design and includes six screws to mount it onto the separately available baseplate. It also has an integrated safety lock to prevent plate movement or disconnection.

Compatibility

This interchangeable riser combines with the LeftField Universal 15mm LWS Baseplate and DJI Ronin-2 Dovetail B4002.1058 to set the RED V-RAPTOR at the correct height for 15mm LWS standards.

The dovetail is secured using a 4mm Allen key that enables the operator to securely tighten down the clamp with a higher force than a lever. There is also no risk of levers being knocked during operation.
